Honor, Courage, and Commitment.
Hampton families face unique challenges that deserve informed advocacy. From aging Seacoast infrastructure, cuts to our public servants’ pensions, and threats to public education, I have stood up for our community over the past eight years as a State Representative.
In the House, I have leveraged my position on the Public Works and Highways Committee to reinvest in Hampton’s roads, ensure the new Seabrook-Hampton bridge is funded, and construct a new courthouse. As your Representative, I put Hampton first and will work in a bipartisan manner to get things done.
It has been an honor to serve this community in Concord. I am excited to be running for another term. As long as I am your representative, I will listen to you and work hard for you.
Meet Mike.
I spent my civilian and military careers working in construction management and civil engineering, after earning my B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut and my M.S.E in Engineering Science from Pennsylvania State University.
I served in the U.S. Navy from 1984 to 2009, reaching the rank of Captain. I was also deployed with the U.S. Navy Seabees, working in Haiti, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Construction projects I oversaw included dams, powerplants, roads, and bridges. My construction and engineering experience allow me to be a specially informed advocate for investment in Hampton’s infrastructure.
I have lived in Hampton with my wife, Kathi, since 1976. Our five boys are proud graduates of Hampton public schools.
I was first elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in a 2015 special election and then re-elected to four full terms. Previously, I served on the Hampton School Board and as President of the Hampton Youth Association.
